Brief

Express and explore the meaning of a word, using strictly black, white and grey levels in one style frame.

dissonance |ˈdisənəns| noun

Music lack of harmony among musical notes
a tension or clash resulting from the combination of two disharmonious or unsuitable elements

uneven |ˌənˈēvən| adjective

not level or smooth
 not regular, consistent, or equal
not equally balance

awkward |ˈôkwərd| adjective

1 causing difficulty; hard to do or deal with
2 causing or feeling embarrassment or inconvenience
3 not smooth or graceful; ungainly

I interpreted awkward in two different frames because when an individual feels awkward they sometimes tend to physically make themselves smaller due to the fact that stick out in any given situation, in the first frame. The second frame highlights the intangibility of an awkward situation, you have stuck out and are as big as the elephant in the room.
